1. Patients’ rights (according to law no. 46/2003)

    I. Patients have the rights to receive the highest quality of medical care.

    II.Patients have the right to be treated as human beings without any discrimination.

    III.The patient’s right to medical information

  • The patient has the right to be informed about the available medical services, as well as how to use these services
  • The patient has the right to be informed about the identity and professional status of the health service
  • The hospitalized patient has the right to be informed about the rules and habits that must be observed throughout the hospitalization
  • The hospitalized patient has the right to be informed about his state of health, proposed medical interventions, the potential risks of the procedures, available alternatives to the proposed procedures, as well as about the non-treatment and the non-compliance with the medical recommendations, data on the prognosis, diagnosis.
  • The hospitalized patient has the right to decide if he still needs additional information , in the event that the information presented by the doctor could cause him
  • The hospitalized patient has the right to expressly request not to be informed and to designate another person to receive the information in his place.

    IV. Patient consent to medical intervention

OBLIGATIONS OF PATIENTS

Patients have the following obligations:

  • To comply with the discipline conditions practiced at the Cosmedica Clinic
